The Sketchbooks

Lee loves to draw. he has collected a few sketchbooks and continues to keep them by his side for when he wants to break out and draw. He uses his sketchbook sometimes as a journal, a notebook, and place to tear paper when needed for another use. He loves his sketchbooks and plans to get them of varying sizes and create a small library.

Only two of the sketchbooks have cover art. However, they all have a name.

The Book of Dark Arts (8.5x11 in.)

The Book of Solitude (5x8.25 in.)

The Travel Book (5x8.25 in.)

Secret Discussions (8.5x11 in)

The Mole (8x11.75 in.)

The Book of Dark Arts

The First Sketchbook Lee has started and kept.

These are ten sketches I really liked from the first book

The Book of Solitude

This book, Lee was explaining to me, is a story book; a visual autobiography with little text telling different stories from This Is How You Make Frybread. The memoirs of a native american. He hopes to write his story out.

Here are some images.

The Travel Book

This is a small book Lee kept with him and mainly took a lot of notes of other artists with and often sketched ideas out for class. It was used throughout the 2012 Spring Semester at WSU.

Secret Discussions

This book Lee got while amidst his summer break of 2012. It only lasted until fall 2012. He was proud that he worked a lot more in this book.

The Mole

These are are images from Lee's sketchbook from the fall and winter of 2012.
